Life just got a little bit faster.. back at work, with three weeks of sharing in partnerships; first with AUSIL pilot and wife, Randall and Shirl, then Peter and Brian from MAF Technical Services and CRMF (Christian Radio Missionary Fellowship) respectively, and then this last week, our own new Coordinate Resource worker, Louise joined with us on our East Arnhem Scripture in Use admin work at Galiwin'ku.
For Randall and Shirl, it was a chance to support our Scripture in Use work with the AuSIL plane. This has been a vision of Wäŋgarr's but she was away this week being a teaching assistant at Nungalinya College in Darwin! So Ŋändama and I took the opportunity to fill Wäŋgarr's shoes. We prepared resources, planned our travel with Randall and took off to serve some very isolated places that have difficulty accessing our Scripture resources.

Mirrŋatja homeland is on the Arafura swamps and takes less than an hour to fly there. Right now, with many fallen trees since the two cyclones, it is impossible to get around many homelands overland. We spent Thursday afternoon at Mirrŋatja, with the families there giving us their undivided attention. Then we took a 20 minute flight from Galiwin'ku to Mäpuru on Friday. Carolyn join us, a young mum too, to see and help with the work. It was so-o encouraging to hear Mirrŋatja folk ask if we could return weekly!
Peter, Brian and Louise's visit gave us a chance to discuss partnership issues, and we talked about how to grow our Scripture in Use services around North East Arnhemland communities and homelands.
